From Hidden Gardens to Standing Ovations: A Buenos Aires Sunday

Had a late start after a late night with family. Went to lunch at a place that was an old convent turned into a restaurant called Atis Bar. Beautiful hidden garden

Walked to San Telmo Market which is a famous indoor and outdoor market. The internet told me the best time to go was on Sunday, according to family that’s tourist time to go. We ended up having time we so went. It was packed as expected. May go back to actually be able to enjoy food or drinks there.

On the walk home we saw the “Pink House” - La Casa Rosada aka the President’s House

Went to a tango play called Astor Piazzola Eterno at the famous Theater Colón (I understood about 4 words) but it was really beautiful. Their voices and dancing were incredible. Obviously the theater itself was stunning too

Ended the night walking one of the main streets that has so much energy and went to dinner. Finally got our first Argentine sandwiches. I grew up eating these from Argentine restaurants in LA because of my grandparents and loved them. So I was really excited about these.

There was something spectacular around the sunset tonight over the city. We also saw the Obelesco for the first time.
